Peterborough City Council has been announced as one of two headline sponsors supporting the city’s annual Peterborough B2 B Exhibition.
The showcase event, which takes place this October at the KingsGate Centre in Peterborough, last year brought together over 600 business people for a day of promotional opportunities, networking and inspirational guest speakers.
Speaking of the announcement Councillor John Holdich, leader of the council, said:
“Peterborough’s economy is buoyant with a record 1900 businesses being set up in the city last year. Networking with other business leaders is vital for the health of the city’s economy and to further increase confidence. The Chambers’ B2B event is one of the most well-respected in the region and I hope that businesses use the exhibition to generate new opportunities for growth and success."
Peterborough City Council joins Peterborough Regional College as the event’s main sponsors. The exhibition is also supported by Peterborough Telegraph, Connect FM and Olsen Partnership.
Formerly known as Business Focus, the annual event is celebrating its 15th year bringing the business community together to showcase the city’s diverse, thriving economy. Amongst the companies to exhibit at the event each year is Holmewood Hall Conference and Training Venue.
Conference Manager Karen Wagg said: "Peterborough B2B provides a great environment for meeting potential clients and showcasing our new services to the business community. There is a really positive feel to the day and it’s a unique opportunity to share what Peterborough has to offer."
