Your brand is probably the most important asset to your business and is key to shaping the way your business behaves, looks and is perceived.  In this seminar we talk about leveraging the value of brand and your most important brand advocate – your website. A great brand with an equally great website, should leave a lasting, positive impression on everyone who needs to be impressed –  that includes your competitors as well as your customers.

A strong brand will see your business through good times and tough times, so check out your brand potential.

GDPR - Are you prepared?

Mike Holland, OlsenMetrix Marketing

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force in May 2018 and if not compliant could expose you to fines of up to €20 million.

GDPR is not just about what marketing material you can send to your customers. It also covers all ‘data processing’ that your business undertakes, whether that is done on a computer or on paper.  All your personnel records and customer records are covered by GDPR too.

There will be new strict rules about what data you can and cannot hold, what permissions you must have to hold it, what you can legally do with that data and how you must keep it secure. The rules apply in business-to-business operations as well as business-to-consumer.

Start planning for GDPR now...this seminar will outline what the new law requires of you and how to stay out of trouble with your data.

2.00-2.30pm

Cyber Security Essentials Programme

Jason Ablewhite, the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire

This new service, offered in conjunction with member company Redpalm Technology Services, will allow businesses to certify to a cyber-security framework. The scheme will provide clarity on what essential security controls are required and once you are approved you can gain competitive edge over competitors by promoting that you have met a Government approved cyber security scheme.
